The launch process wasn’t butter smooth and there were some hiccups and cyanogens fiasco, but the OnePlus One has finally arrived in India for just 21999 INR. For now, OnePlus will sell only 64 GB variant in India.
OnePlus One is indeed a big phone with 5.5 Inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080p full HD resolution. The 2014 flagship challenger packs Snapdragon 801 quad core clocked at 2.5 GHz and aided by ample 3 GB RAM and 64 GB non expandable internal storage.
OnePlus also flaunts a 13 MP Sony Exmor RS sensor at the back and a 5 MP selfie shooter at the front, both of which work well. Other features include 3100 mAh battery NFC, internal GPS antenna + GLONASS, Digital Compass and Tri-microphone with noise cancellation
OnePlus One will ship with global build of CyanogenMod. OnePlus says that they have been working on a community build for OnePlus one and this is what will be passed on to Indian variant when this is perfected. Beta version of this ROM will be available by December and will be available for all users to flash on their smartphones. The final production build will be up and running by February. OnePlus build will be based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and will be free from bloatware. However, users will have to flash this new build on their OnePlus One using OnePlus assistance.
OnePlus also re-confirmed full support for those who already have International variant of OnePlus One in India. Initially OnePlus plans on selling 1000 units in India, which means it will be extremely tough to buy from the first batch. OnePlus One will retail with a 10 days return policy.
