First Batch of Xiaomi Redmi Note with 50,000 Units Sold Out in 6 Seconds

Today, the Xiaomi Redmi Note that was launched in India last week went on sale for the first time via Flipkart and as expected the first batch of 50,000 units were sold out within seconds, to be precise 6 seconds. It kept the trend of flash sales that was debuted by Xiaomi Mi3 and Redmi 1S going by getting emptied in just few seconds.

Anyways, the second flash sale of the Redmi Note will happen on December 9 and the registrations for the same will be open from 6 pm today.

To refresh on specs, Redmi Note boasts of a 5.5 inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Mediatek MT6592 octa core processor supplemented with 2 GB of RAM. The device features 8 GB of internal storage capacity that is expandable via micro SD card. The imaging aspects are taken care of by a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. A 3,100 mAh battery powers the smartphone pumping a decent backup to it.
