Intex Aqua i5 Octa Announced for 7,499 INR, Listed Exclusively on Amazon

The homegrown smartphone manufacturers have come aggressive in launching octa core handsets at reasonable price brackets. Going on the same lines, Intex has come up with an octa core smartphone called Intex Aqua i5 Octa that is the successor of the Intex Aqua i5 HD. The handset is available exclusively via Amazon India for a pricing of Rs 7,499.

Like the other octa core smartphones in the entry level market segment, the Intex offering arrives powered with a 1.4 GHz octa core MediaTek chipset that is coupled with 1 GB of RAM for swift multi-tasking. It is bestowed with a 5 inch qHD display that appears to be standard for the pricing that the handset asks.

Storage wise, the Intex Aqua i5 Octa comes bundled with 8 GB of default storage capacity that can be extended externally by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The imaging hardware of the device comprises of a 13 MP primary snapper that is teamed up with auto focus and LED Flash for a great performance even under low light ambient conditions. In addition, the handset boasts of a 5 MP front facing snapper that should be capable of quenching the demands of seflie enthusiasts.

Other goodies onboard the Aqua i5 Octa include Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and dual SIM functionality. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system that is resource rich and arrives in white, blue and black color variants. The 2,000 mAh battery operating under the hood of the Intex offering comes with power saving feature as well.

Analyzing its specifications, the Intex offering would definitely be a tough rival to the other octa core smartphones including Xiaomi Redmi Note, Xolo Omega 5.5 and Alcatel OneTouch Flash.
