Acer Liquid Jade Announced Officially for 16,999 INR, Availability via Snapdeal

Acer is in the tech headlines today as the vendor has released the Liquid E700 smartphone for Rs 11,999 in India. Alongside this device, Acer has also launched another smartphone, Acer Liquid Jade that features a smooth curved plastic exterior at its back. Like the Liquid E700, this one will also be exclusively available via e-commerce portal Snapdeal and it is priced at Rs 16,999. Detailing on its specifications, the Acer Liquid Jade is bestowed with a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. The handset employs a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 chipset coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The device bundles ample 16 GB of default storage space that can be extended externally up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. Acer Liquid Jade boasts of a 13 MP primary camera at its back with LED flash, auto focus and FHD 1080p video recording support. A 2 MP front facer for video calling is also included in the smartphone. Other aspects of the smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity and a 2,100 mAh to power the device from within. From the specifications, it can be seen that both the Acer Liquid Jade and Liquid E700 arrive with similar specifications other than a difference in the primary camera and battery.
