Lava is definitely in a rage to launch a slew of smartphones into the market. After the launch of the Iris Fuel 60 with a long lasting battery, the vendor has launched the Iris 310 Style smartphone. The device is listed on the official Lava website for a pricing of Rs 3,749, but there is no detail regarding the availability of the device.
Talking of specifications, the Lava Iris 310 Style is an entry level smartphone as its pricing suggests. It boasts of a 3.5 inch HVGA TFT display carrying a screen resolution of 320×480 pixels and is stuffed with a 1.3 GHz dual core MediaTek MT6571 processor teamed up with Mali 400 MP graphics unit and 256 MB of RAM respectively.
For imaging, the Iris 310 Style is listed to feature a 2 MP primary camera at its back with LED flash accompanied by a VGA front facing snapper for basic video conferencing. Storage wise, Lava has incorporated the smartphone with 2 GB of native storage capacity that can be extended further by another 32 GB via a micro SD card.
Other goodies onboard the Lava Iris 310 Style include connectivity aspects such as GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and dual SIM functionality and no 3G for faster connectivity. A basic 1,400 mAh battery powers the smartphone from within and it is claimed to pump in a moderate backup of 11 hours of talk time and 290 hours of standby time respectively on 2G.
The official listing reveals that the Iris 310 Style smartphone will arrive in Blue, Black and Brown color options and that it will sport metallic back finish. While everything in the device is impressive for its pricing, it has to be noted that the lack of 3G is a major downside as many vendors are incorporating the same on their similarly priced devices.
