Samsung Galaxy Grand Max Goes Official with Support for 4G LTE

Earlier this week, Samsung announced the Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 smartphones and launched them in India as well. Now, the vendor has unveiled a new mid range smartphone called Galaxy Grand Max in its mainland Korea.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Max is listed on the official Samsung Korea store for a pricing of SKW 3,70,000 (approx. Rs 21,200). It is claimed that the handset will be available for sale from three Korean carriers LG+, SKT and Olleh. For now, there is no word from Samsung regarding the global availability of the Galaxy Grand Max.

The handset features a new pattern on its rear panel that becomes the notable feature of the device. The version of Android that is running the Galaxy Grand Max remains unknown and it is a single SIM device. Otherwise, there is a 5.25 inch HD TFT display carrying a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Powering the smartphone is a 1.2 GHz quad core of unspecified chipset backed by 1.5 GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Max packs in 16 GB of default storage that can be expanded externally by another 64 GB using a miocro SD card. Also onboard is a 13 MP primary camera at its back with a CMOS sensor and LED flash and 5 MP selfie camera up front with 120 degree wide viewing angle lens.


Connectivity wise, the Galaxy Grand Max is packed with 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. A, 2,500 mAh removable battery powers the smartphone pumping a decent backup to it.
