Camera and Internal storage

Lenovo has provided with an 8 MP rear shooter with auto focus and LED flash support at the back. Also, there is a 2 MP front facing selfie shooter onboard the A6000 that can take charge of basic video conferencing and clicking self portrait shots respectively. For the expected pricing of the smartphone these camera aspects sound pretty standard.

Internal storage is also standard with 8 GB of space that can be extended further by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. This is also average and we have seen similar storage capacities in the other devices in the entry level segment.

Processor and Battery

The processor used in the Lenovo A6000 is a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor. This processor is assisted by 1 GB of RAM that can provide moderate multitasking without any clutter. Notably, the handset runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and hence its 64 bit computing capability remains useless.

Battery capacity is 2,300 mAh that is rated to pump in up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 11.5 hours of standby time respectively. This backup sounds acceptable for an entry level 4G enabled smartphone.

Display and Other Features

The display is 5 inches in size with 720p HD resolution that results in an average 294 ppi pixel density. The display is an IPS panel that should b capable of rendering good viewing angles and decent brightness. Again, there is a standard screen on the Lenovo A6000 that can be expected from a device in this price bracket.

The software is Android 4.4 Kitkat topped with Lenovo Vibe 2.0 UI. Furthermore, there are connectivity aspects such as dual SIM functionality, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and dual mode LTE supporting both TD-LTE and FD-LTE. Also, the A6000 comes preloaded with the Guvera music application.
