Intex is recently coming up with numerous entry level smartphones in order to expand its Aqua lineup and lure the feature phone upgraders. Today, Intex has listed yet another smartphone called Aqua A1 on its official website with a pricing of Rs 4,030. As of now, there is no information regarding the availability of the device though we expect it to be announced in the coming days.
The Intex Aqua A1 is given a 4 inch IPS display with a WVGA screen resolution of 480×800 pixels that results in a pixel density of 233 pixels per inch. The handset is stuffed with a 1 GHz dual core MediaTek MT6572 processor backed by 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of native storage capacity that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card.
Fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the dual SIM Aqua A1 flaunts a 5 MP primary camera at its back accompanied with LED flash and a VGA front facing selfie snapper for video conferencing. There are features such as Panorama, face recognition, continuous shot and HDR shooting modes in the primary camera.
The Intex Aqua A1 is packed with connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro USB. Energizing the smartphone is a 1,400 mAh battery that is rated to pump in up to 4 to 5 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time respectively. Furthermore, the handset is the Aqua A1 is preloaded with applications including Intex Zone, Opera mini, Ask Me, Intex Play and OLX.
