These units are selling for 4,590 INR. The original Xiaomi Redmi 1s on the other hand is selling for 5,999 INR.
Reportedly the first sales received good response. The first sales was carried out at OverCart.com and an invitation was required to participate. Xiaomi will carry out more such sales in partnership with 4 to 5 other ecommerce retailers.
