Asus has Launched Zenfone C ZC451CG in Malaysia, priced approximately for an equivalent of 6,000 INR and with specifications similar to Asus Zenfone 4.5 or Zenfone 4 A450CG. There are no official availability details available for Zenfone C as of now.
According to leaked info, The Zenfone C will feature a 4.5 Inch display with 854 x 480 pixel FWVGA resolution and will be powered by Intel Atom Z2520 dual core processor Hyper Threading enabled, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable Internal memory.
There is a 5 MP PixelMaster rear autofocus camera (Vs 8 MP in Zenfone 4.5) with flash and f/2.0 lens coupled with a VGA front-facing camera with f/2.8 lens for selfies. The battery capacity is 2100 mAh which is an improvement when compared to 1600 mAh battery in Zenfone 4 A450CG.
Other features include G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Glonass, and Micro-USB. Out of the box, this new budget Zenfone will be running Android 4.4 KitKat. The handset features the same Zenfone series design and will be available in multiple colors.
There is no word on availability outside Malaysia as of now. With a well defined Zenfone portfolio already existing in Indian market, we won’t bet our money on India availability anytime soon.
