Jivi is a gradually becoming a popular feature phone manufacturer and it has now started venturing into the smartphone business as well. The firm has come up with a new range of smartphones in the affordable segment of the market.

The firm has launched three new smartphones called Jivi JSP 29, Jivi JSP 38 and Jivi JSP 47 that run on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. They boast of 3G connectivity and have other aspects such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as well. There is support for WiFi hotspot as well that lets Internet access on devices in vicinity.
The trio of smartphones supports dual SIM functionality and they arrive with micro SD card slots supporting additional storage capacity up to 32 GB. There is a Jivi App Store through which users can download games, songs, videos and other multimedia content.
The Jivi JSP 47 is priced at Rs 4,199 and it is equipped with a dual core 1.2 GHz processor. There is a 4.5 inch bright display that is vivid enough and it is an IPS panel with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. There is a 5 MP main camera and a front facer as well. Other goodies include 4 GB of native storage space, 512 of MB of RAM, GPS and a 1,650 mAh battery.
The Jivi JSP 38 costs Rs 3,299 and it houses a 4 inch WVGA display with 480×800 pixels and makes use of a 1 GHz processor. There is 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of storage capacity, a 5 MP main camera and a VGA front facer. All these are powered by a 1,500 mAh battery that energizes the device.
Lastly, the Jivi JSP 29 is priced at Rs 2,999 and it is fitted with a 3.5 inch screen of unknown resolution. There is a 1 GHz single core processor teamed up with 512 MB of storage capacity and 256 MB of RAM. Otherwise, there is a 2 MP main camera, a VGA front facing snapper and a 1,450 mAh battery.
