How to use: All you need to do is basically just download the app and its done. Your calls will start automatically. A three dot icon will appear atop your display. To disable automatic call recording, you will need to tap on this icon, navigate to Settings –>Record calls and switch it off.

This app also allows you choose the format of recording –  You can can choose from AMR, 3 GP and WAV. But, it will overburden your phone with recordings. Simply put,your recordings will generally get saved in the Inbox folder. Generally when new recordings are saved, old recordings will get overwritten. To save specific recordings that you consider important, you can save them in the Saved folder. You can also decide whether too save these recordings in your SDcard or in your phone by navigating to Settings –>Recording Path. These recordings can be easily shared via WhatsApp or any other app.

Call Recorder by BoldBeast lets you not just save voice recordings of incoming and outgoing calls, but also lets you save voice memos for personal use.

How to use: Start by clicking the options button on your keypad and then navigating to Settings-> Call Settings –> Auto Record calls. This is by default set to recording all calls. You can actually exclude or include some numbers by listing them in the include/exclude list or even disable call recording.

The app also allows you to decide the call format. By default this app saves the recording in a hidden folder, but you can save these recordings in the SDcard by entering the path in the Clip Saving Folder option.

You can also save voice memos by clicking twice at the top of the app menu, which lets the voice recorder allow you to take a voice memo. Just press this button again to stop the recording.

Call Recorder allows you to simply record calls.

How it works:  It, by default, records all your voice calls. All you need to do to start voice recording is to click the ON and its done!

It also allows you delete recorded calls. You needn’t worry for storage space as it can sync your recordings with Dropbox and Google Drive. Another useful feature is that it allows you to set a passcode, so that your recordings are safe and cannot be accessed easily by other persons.

eRecorder comes with a simple interface. You can record memos, meetings and more.

How it works: You have to simply install the app and access it while on a call. There are two buttons, one will start the recording and the other will stop it. Below these buttons, you will find the Pause button,which will allow you to pause recording in between a call. You can also save a voice memo by just switching on the app and and pressing start. Recordings are saved in the WAV format.  The app records low quality apps at Low Quality: 8 KHz, Medium Quality: 22.05 KHz and High Quality: 44.1 KHz.

Smart Voice Recorder is a voice recording app designed for businesses. It provides you more control than regular call recording apps.

How it Works: This app allows you to skip silences, configure sample rates, calibrate and test your mic, and determine where recordings are saved. The voice quality is good the skip silences option, not only allows you to skip silences but also allows you to shrink your recording size by doing so. Recording options range from Low Quality: 8 KHz, Medium Quality: 22.05 KHz and High Quality: 44.1 KHz.

Quid Pro Quo:  This app does not allow you to record to save to cloud services.
