Samsung Galaxy A7 with 5.5 Inch Full HD Display and Slim Design for 30,499 INR

Samsung has quietly introduced another A series smartphone, Samsung Galaxy A7 in India for 30, 499 INR. Galaxy A7 is a large display phablet which is also quite slim measuring just 6.3 mm and is also very light at 141 grams.

The display is 5.5 Inches in size with 1080p full HD resolution. Like other high end Samsung smartphones, this one too flaunts a Super AMOLED display. The display is protected by latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Galaxy A7 is powered by 1.5 GHz big.LITTLE octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (Quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 + quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53) processor with Adreno 405, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The 64 bit octa core chipset is the same one which we have seen in phones like Yureka and HTC Desire 820.

Software is Android 4.4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI customizations on top. There is a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. Other features include 2600 mAh battery, MicroSD card support, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 4G LTE Cat. 4, USB 2.0, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS and NFC.

To compete in lower price market, Samsung has also launched Galaxy Grand Max with 5.25 Inch HD display, Snapdragon 410 quad core processor, 1,5 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 13 MP/5 MP camera and a 2500 mAh battery for Approx 17,000 INR.
