Gionee has announced the Over-The-Air (OTA) update for the Gionee Marathon M3 and Pioneer P6 smartphones. The software update is claimed to allow users to download and install the new updates effortlessly.
The Pioneer P6 will be receiving a revamped user interface, applications and layout. The new update for P6 has fixed the green shade and hanging issue that occur while Whatsapp is in use. Users of the device can manage notifications right from applications with this update that brings a feature called Information Management System. Also, there is a new lock screen widget for privacy issues.
Other features that the Pioneer P6 has received as a result of this OTA update include new fonts, enhanced touch response, enhanced camera quality, updated Music Player, new Find sea theme and hide application function.

When it comes to the Marathon M3, the device that features a powerful 5,000 mAh battery has received the OTA update that resolves the disappearing of applications, fix to the Whatsapp notification issue, enhanced camera quality, updated Clean Master, enhanced Junk character in incoming Call UI issue and addition of Du battery save, amigo paper, gamezone, Boyaa Texas Poker, True Caller and UC Browser
As a result of this new OTA update, the gionee Pioneer P6 and Marathon M3 smartphones will provide better and improved experience to the users.
