‎iBall‬ Cobalt Oomph 4.7D With iPhone 6 Like Design To Launch Soon for 7,999 INR

iBall is in the tech headlines for grabbing the first slot in the tablet market beating Samsung and Micromax. Also, it came up with two devices, iBall Cobalt Solus and Slide Brace X1. Now, the vendor seems to be all set to launch another smartphone in the Cobalt lineup.

Well, Facebook posts from the entrusted Mumbai based retailer, Mahesh Telecom claims that a new smartphone called iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D boasting a sleek metallic design is all set to be launched soon for a pricing of Rs 7,999. The official launch of the device is yet to take place.

As per the retailer’s listing, the iBall smartphone boasts of a 4.7 inch IPS display with HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is claimed to employ a 1.3 GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor backed by 1 GB of RAM. The device is likely to be fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat and upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The imaging aspects of the iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D as per the listing are an 8 MP auto focus primary snapper with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing selfie camera for video conferencing.

For storage, the iBall smartphone comes with 8 GB of native storage support expandable using a micro SD card. Other aspects as revealed by the source include 3G, dual SIM supoort, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 1,850 mAh battery.


On the design front, the iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D seems to resemble the iPhone with a circular home button. We are yet to see an official launch of the device and will get to know more details then.
