American Smartphone Company Infocus has launched a selfies centric, compact and interesting smartphone, Infocus M2, which has been priced just right at 4,999 INR. The phone justifies its price rather well. The handset is manufactured by Foxconn, the company popular for making iPhones and Nokia N1 tablets.
The display is compact at 4.2 Inches, but sports 1280 X 720p HD resolution, pushing pixel density above retina count to 355 pixels per inches. All these pixels will be handled by MediaTek’s ubiquitous MT6582 chip with 4 cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz and Mali 400 MP2 GPU, assisted with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable Internal storage (64 GB MicroSD support).
Notably, 8 MP camera sensors are present on both front and back surface, both with LED flash and wide f/2.2 aperture lens! The rear camera has a 5 element lens. This is indeed a lot on paper considering a sub 5K price tag.
