Xiaomi recently launched its flagship and wonderful Mi4 in India, in both 16 GB and 64 GB variants. It didn’t sell like hot cakes, as is always expected from Xiaomi flash sales, but this is totally understandable. The high price tag and OnePlus competition had their respective parts to play and eventually the 16 GB model was available sans registration.
If import data is to be believed, Xiaomi might be prepping a dual SIM variant of Mi4 in India. If true, this might give Xiaomi an edge in a market where users prefer and highly prioritize dual SIM smartphones. More so as it doesn’t list 4G LTE or NFC either.
Talking about other specs, the Metal clad Mi4 offers a gorgeous 5 Inch Full HD display, protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and powered by 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core beast with 3 GB RAM and non expandable storage.

The rear camera, aided by Dual tone LED flash can record 4k videos. The 8 MP selfie camera at the front can be used for Full HD video recording as well. Xiaomi Mi4 houses a 3080 mAh battery which can comfortably last for more than one day of usage.
Xiaomi will today introduce its Moto E challenger, The Redmi 2 in India very soon. We might also hear about the dual SIM variant at the event.
