Moto E 2nd Gen 4G LTE Launched in India for 7,999 INR

Motorola has now launched the 4G LTE variant of Moto E in India, for 7,999 INR. Apart from the blazing fast internet connectivity option, this one will also feature trendier 64 bit Snapdragon 410 chipset with 4 cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz, for extra 1,000 INR.

The Moto E 2nd Gen 4G LTE will be appealing to geeks prioritizing a compact and ergonomic design smartphone (with replaceable side-bands). The 4.5 Inch IPS LCD display has great colors and viewing angles, though it is not the sharpest one around with 960 x 540 (qHD) resolution. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is layered on top for added protection against day to day wear and tear.

Puritans can relish stock Android 5.0.2 Lollipop software in its full glory, which we found to be extremely snappy on Moto E 2nd Gen LTE model, even with 1 GB RAM onboard. The imaging department however still leaves much to be desired.

There is a 5 MP AF rear camera sans LED flash and a VGA front camera for selfies and video recording. You can record 720p HD videos from the rear camera. The 2390 mAh battery is good enough for more than one day moderate usage.

Other features include Dual SIM connectivity, 8 GB native storage, 32 GB MicroSD support, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
