One year after Oppo Joy, the Chinese manufacturer has now launched Oppo Joy Plus, a low end smartphone which offers Oppo quality assurance, if that is something you value.
“Our aim at OPPO India is to provide our customers with ground-breaking technology at affordable prices. The Smartphone market in India is constantly evolving and we intend to reach across sections through our budget Smartphone, Joy Plus. We are looking at aggressive market penetration this year and we are confident that Joy Plus, packed with latest features will provide our customers more personal and reliable mobile experience,” said Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobile India.
The handset includes a 4 Inch IPS LCD display with basic WVGA 800 x 480 pixel resolution powered by slightly dated MT6572 dual core chipset, clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat based Color OS 2.0

The chipset should be able to handle basic usage, but only 4GB of internal storage would further limit usage. A microSD card is also present, so media consumption won’t be a problem. There is a 3 MP camera on the rear side and a VGA front camera. Other features include dual SIM support, 1700 mAh battery and 3G connectivity.
Like most other OPPO phones, Oppo Joy Plus seems overpriced in the online world and you could get a better deal with phones like Moto E, Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Lenovo A6000.
