Micromax has today launched another 3G 7 inch tablet – The Canvas Tab P480, priced at 6,999 INR. The budget tablet Dual SIM card slot for voice calling and internet access.
The Canvas Tab P480 comes with 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. The storage is expandable by upto 32 GB using MicroSD card slot.
The chipset sounds good enough for the price and for intended usage. Software is Android 4.4 KitKat and this is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.The 7 inch display has standard budget tab resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
If you wish to click images in spite of the large form factor, Micromax has got you covered with a 5 MP rear shooter and a 2 MP front camera. There is a modest 3000 mAh battery residing inside to keep things running. Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.
Clearly, this tablet is targeted for basic users who can benefit from a portable and larger display medium for media consumption. The Micromax Canvas Tab P480 comes in Blue and White colors and is priced at Rs. 6,999. It will be available across India from the last week of April, 2015.
