Sony Xperia C4 with MT6752 Octa Core, 2GB RAM and Lollipop Announced

Sony Xperia C4 is the latest arrival in popular Xperia lineup, which lists some promising specs for a mid-range device. Sony continues with its MediaTek adoption and has used popular MT6752 64 bit Cortex A53 based octa core CPU in Xperia C4.

The handset follows Sony design ethos and is 7.9 mm thick around the waist. Sony has included a phablet sized 5.5 Inch Full HD 1080p IPS LCD display, powered by Bravia Engine 2.

The 1.7 GHz MT6752 octa core chip is aided by 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Media consumption shouldn’t be a problem as 128 GB MicroSD card support is included. Software is Android 5.0 Lollipop based Xperia UI.

The 13 MP rear camera can record 1080p full HD videos and a 5 MP front camera, with Exmor R sensor and wide angle lens is also present to entice selfie lovers. A dedicated shutter key is also present to make life simpler. Rich set of connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC.

All hardware will be powered by 2600 mAh battery and like always, you could rely on Stamina mode to squeeze in a few extra hours.

In India, Sony will most likely introduce the dual SIM variant, i.e., Xperia C4 Dual, for a yet unspecified price in the beginning of June 2015. Sony Xperia C4 will retail in black, white and mint color options.

I am a heavy internet user and multitasker but do not play any game.
I use to talk around an hour daily on mobile and wish to install enough apps and to run some of them simultaneously without any lag or hanging problem.
I am an average user of camera and use occasionally.
    Hoping for a reply soon.

    Thanks in advance
