Asus will soon pour in more Zenfone 2 variants in India and today demonstrated what is on the cards. On August 6th, the company will bring in Zenfone Selfie, ZenFone 2 Deluxe and Zenfone 2 Laser in India.
Out of the three, Zenfone Selfie was revealed last month at Computex and ranked high on the awaited in India list. This is the first Zenfone to run a qualcomm chipset and includes a large sized (1/ 3 Inch) 13 MP front camera sensor with f2.2 Aperture wide angle lens and dual LED flash for uncompromised selfies. The same sensor is present on the rear side too.
The Snapdragon 615 inside is accompanied by 2GB/ 3 GB RAM depending on the storage variant (16GB/ 32GB) you opt for. The 5.5 Inch full HD display is layered with Gorilla Glass 4 for added protection against drops and scratches.
Other features include Android Lollipop based ZenUI, 64 GB MicroSD card support, NFC, GPS and GLONASS.
Zenfone 2 Deluxe, is perhaps the most expensive Zenfone Model, which has the same rear camera as Zenfone selfie and flaunts a crystal finish polygon material back cover. The rest of the hardware is similar to top end Zenfone 2 model.
There is a 5.5 Inch full HD storage,2.3 GHz quad core Intel Atom Z3580, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB expandable storage, Android Lollipop and a 3000 mAh battery. It will be available in Illusion White, Illusion Red and Illusion Blue options.
Zenfone 2 Laser, on the other hand is the low end Zenfone model which will be available in 2 trims, both powered by Snapdragon 410 quad core CPU and protected by Gorilla Glass 4.
Both 5 Inch and 5.5 Inch Display variants will have 720p HD resolution, 2 GB RAM and expandable storage. More details, including price and availability information will be revealed next week at ZenFestival.
