Apple has officially presented the new iPhones – iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus today, which show loads of improvements over previous generation models.
3D Touch And Its Integration with iOS 9
Apple has introduced 3D touch with the new iPhones, which essentially means that the new iPhones will recognize different levels of pressures. The feature is ‘deeply integrated’ in iOS 9 and is also complimented by a new haptic feedback motors. To sum it up in Apple’s own worlds, 3D Touch allows you to interact with apps without actually opening them.
The new 12 MP iSight Camera, Facetime camera and Live Photos
Another compelling change is 50 percent more pixels for the rear camera. The iSight camera now has a 12MP sensor, even faster Auto focus and can also record 4K videos. The 5MP iSight camera on the hand can use the retina display as dual tone flash. Apple has used a dedicated chip inside which facilitates the retina screen shining up to 3 times brighter. Apple claims it works as efficiently as dual tone flash.
Another interesting feature is Live photos, which was again made possible by 3D Touch. You can press on any image and it springs to life as a GIF. You don’t have to do anything different to click live images and can also set them as Apple watch faces too.
Another major change is the newt 3rd Generation 64 bit A9 Chip, which sports a new transistor architecture. Compared to A8, we are talking about a 70 percent faster CPU and a 90 percent faster GPU, and that is saying something.
Besides, the new iPhones also boast of 2X faster WiFi, Faster 4G LTE channels, 2X Faster TouchID more color options and the strongest ion strengthened glass protection on the Retina display (Gorilla Glass 5?).
