Samsung has been slogging really hard to gamble with the features in its new devices. Apart from configuring loads of hardware fixes, seems like Samsung has been paying a lot of attention to put new software features to treat the users with extra convenience.
Recently, after the successive launch of its two much awaited benchmark phones, Galaxy S6 Edge followed by the Galaxy Note 5, we locked our eyes on the phone to find out what Samsung has to offer. Samsung has integrated TouchWiz Nature UX 5.0 into the Note5, the same iteration of TouchWiz that is available with the Galaxy S6, though there are obviously some extra perks available with the productivity-oriented phablet.
Samsung has introduced a new feature in the video player, which enables the option of listening to audio in a video file when you don’t wish to see the video on that file. Simply, just play a video file — toggle to options — from the drop down menu select Turn On Play Audio Only. Once you have selected this mode, your video will be frozen and only the audio playback can be heard.
In addition, you will find a Listen via Bluetooth just above the Play Only Audio option. Using this option you have the access to the audio in your Bluetooth headset or speakers, which is nice especially if you don’t want anyone nearby to hear the audio.

Conclusion
When you’re in a situation where you don’t want the video but just the audio, one would normally ignore the screen or cover it with your hand assuming you didn’t want it to be seen. The seemingly-better alternative would be to use the Play Audio feature instead which would also minimize battery consumption. If you’d like to listen to the audio for a song whose video is already on your phone, then you don’t need to download the song separately; instead you can play the audio from the video file using this feature.
While some of us may not agree, Samsung believes users would benefit from such a novel feature. Anything that stands out from the normal offering is always welcome!
