The Chinese manufacturer is consistantly trying to set apart the Meizu MX range of devices and hence, a new series named Meizu MX5 Pro is gearing up for release just like how they introduced a jumbo version of the flagship MX4 known as the Meizu MX4 Pro in the past.

The latest Meizu MX5 Pro leak arrives after we caught a glimpse of purported live photos of the smartphone. Interestingly, the images gave an idea of the smartphone running stock Android with Flyme 5.0 on board. Suspected specs of the MX5 Pro include Exynos 7420 or Helio X20 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 21 Megapixel camera, and 1080p display that’s 5.7 or 6 inches. In comparison, the MX5 has a Mediatek MT6795 octa-core processor, Helio X10, 3 GB of RAM and 5.5 inch display.

The new device will feature a bigger display size  and superior hardware configurations if compared to the Meizu MX5, released earlier this year. The phablet may also feature a home button and a fingerprint scanner, which was yet not introduced in any other Meizu phones.

Previously leaked with nickname NIUX and we cited some hands on images of the smartphone on different websites. According to the leaked images, the phone is supposed to have metallic built and a solid body which add up to the powerful specs.

We can’t really confirm whether the cited hardware is true, but in any case, the wait is about to over soon, as according to Meizu’s official schedule, the Meizu MX5 Pro is expected to be unveiled on 25th September, 2015. The handset may cost approximately $470 when it goes on sale in China.
