ASUS Zenfone GO Launched In India For INR 7,999

ASUS released their latest entrant to the Zenfone series earlier today, the Zenfone GO, priced at an affordable INR 7,999. Equipped with Dual-SIM support and 100 GB of free Google Drive storage, the Zenfone GO should find quite  a few takers with its traditional design and features that complement the accompanying hardware.

Available in Black, White and Red, the Zenfone GO comes with two variants, one with 8 GB of storage and the other with 16 GB and both can be expanded via microSD upto 64 GB. Powering the device is a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex processor on a Mediatek MT6580 chipset and 2 GB of RAM.

On the back of the Zenfone Go is a 8 Megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash whereas the front has a 2 Megapixel camera. The 5 inch LCD display has a 720 x 1280 resolution and has an anti-fingerprint coating to keep it smudge-free. Running on ZenUI which is based on Android Lollipop 5.1, the phone comes with an Accelerometer, e-Compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor and is powered by a 2070 mAh battery.

Side The Zenfone Go also comes with a protective Flip-case that not only protects the phone from scrapes and scratches but also lets you view important information without you having to open or lift your phone which is certainly a nice-to-have feature. Priced at INR 7,999, the device is available at all ASUS exclusive outlets, leading retail stores and on Flipkart as well.
