Meizu M2 Launch in India Next Week Under 8,000 INR

Meizu has been quite active and responsive after the launch of Meizu m2 Note and MX 5 in India this August. Meizu India has announced the official launch of the smartphone in India. The m2 will be launched next week in India where the Meizu m2 was launched in China earlier in July 2015 at CNY 599 (INR 6,200).

Meizu m2 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display at 296ppi density shielded by AGC Dragontrail protective glass, and for the power packed performance m2 settles with a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, supported by 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and Mali T720 GPU. For storage options m2 arrives with 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. The handset supports dual nano-SIM where the second SIM slot acts as a microSD card slot as well.

For photography  the m2 features a 13 MP CMOS rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective lens glass. The front snapper is a 5 MP with f/2.0 aperture, the FotoNation beautifying system has been upgraded for enhanced selfies and accelerated sharing. Connectivity options available on Meizu m2 include 4G FDD-LTE, TD-LTE networks with the SIM cards, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Micro-USB.

Measuring 140.1 x 68.9 x 8.7mm, Meizu m2 weighs 131 grams and the power is backed by a Sony-made 2500mAh battery, claimed to deliver up to 23 hours of talk time on 2G and 680 hours of standby time. The handset’s screen-to-body ratio is 75.6 percent, which surely makes the bezels thin. Meizu m2 is made from a polycarbonate unibody, which makes it lighter. Additionally the unibody composition allows the design of the m2 to be slimmer and solid than its competitors.

Meizu lovers have to wait till the official launch of Meizu m2 for pricing and availability details. Furthermore, the m2 is available in a vibrant color range, you can choose from the color scheme of white, blue, grey and pink.
