The home-grown smartphone manufacturer Swipe has arrived with a new budget 4G smartphone called Swipe Elite 2. Earlier in August this year, we witnessed the Swipe Elite making its debut in the budget smartphone segment. The Swipe Elite 2 is the successor of the same and it has been launched at a price of INR 4,666. The sales will start from 8th November exclusively on Flipkart.

Looking at the price, you must have got an idea that this phone does not hold a very powerful set of specs. Swipe Elite 2 has a 4.5 inch IPS qHD display and is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 8 GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. On the camera front, it sports an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. To keep the system working, it features a 1900 mAh battery with Quick charge feature and, as per the company it can be fully charged within 1 hr 30 minutes.

The Swipe Elite 2 runs on Android Lollipop operating system clubbed with Freedom OS found in most of the phones from Swipe. Besides, the Swipe Elite 2 supports dual SIM, 4G, USB OTG and the connectivity options are WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, USB 2.0, and Bluetooth.

Swipe Elite 2 is the most affordable 4G smartphone from the manufacturers; it will be sold exclusively on Flipkart from November 8th 2015 at a price of INR 4,666, and the company has also announced an Exclusive Preview sale for Uber customers, where Swipe will be delivering Elite 2 directly to Uber customers in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi.
