Gionee recently announced their mid-range battery monster, the Marathon M5 for INR 17,999 and here’s everything you need to know about it.
Available exclusively on Flipkart starting Tuesday in black , gold and white color variants, the marquee feature of the Marathon M5 is its stellar battery life. Consisting of two 3010 mAh batteries, the total size of the battery in the M5 measures a whopping 6020 mAh. To this end, Gionee have also included reverse charging that allows you to charge other devices effectively rendering the M5 a powerbank. A power saving mode is available too, enabling you to use the phone for 62 hours off a 5% charge.
Other specifications include a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable on-board storage. The Marathon M5 is 4G ready and supports a dual-SIM setup. The display is an AMOLED 5.5-inch 1280×720 affair and the phone runs a custom build of Amigo 3.1 based Android 5.1 Lollipop. Lastly, the cameras present on the phone are a 13MP-5MP duo.
