Physical Overview

The Lenovo K4 Note has a good build quality and a decent feel in the hand. Let’s start the overview with the front of the device. The front of the device sports a 5.5 inch Full HD screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) along with a 5MP camera on the top. The top and bottom at the front of the device feature the dual front facing speakers, powered by the Dolby Atmos Surround Sound.

The rear of the device features the 13MP camera along with the dual tone LED flash. Just below the camera, you’ll find the Fingerprint sensor on the device, which should work really fast as announced. The finish on the back of the phone is a rubberized matte finish, which makes it feel not so premium.

The right side of the phone houses the volume rocker and the power button just below it. The feel of the buttons and the feedback from it is pretty decent, and should not feel cheap to anyone who uses it. The sides of the device are made of a polycarbonate material, not having that much premium feeling to it.

Rightside K4 Note

The bottom edge of the device houses the MicroUSB port that can be used for charging and data sync with your computer. Right next to the MicroUSB port is the primary microphone, that you will use when talking on calls or recording something.

User Interface

The Lenovo K4 notes comes with Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box and this is what we had not expected Lenovo to do. We had expected them to provide the Android Marshmallow experience out of the box. The user interface, however, is clean and simple, along with minimal bloatware from Lenovo. Here are a few glimpses of the user interface that the device has to offer.

Camera Overview

The device features a 13MP rear shooter, and a 5MP front shooter in terms of camera. The rear shooter is supported by the dual tone LED flash, which helps to get pictures in low lighting conditions. We have already posted the Camera Overview for the Lenovo K4 Note, and you can head over there to know more about its camera.

Price and Availability

The Lenovo K4 Note is priced at INR 11,999 for the 16GB model and will be available from 19th January. The registrations for the device has started today at 3 PM. Also, the device will be exclusively sold via Amazon India for now.

Comparison & Competition

At the price point of just INR 11,999, the Lenovo K4 Note is going to have a tough competition because of the number of devices that you can get in such a price range. It will be a good competitor to the Redmi Note 3 and Coolpad Note 3 which was launched last year, and we should bring you guys a comparison between these two phones pretty soon.

Conclusion

The Lenovo K4 Note seems like a promising device with such a low price point. We had expected the device to be priced around INR 14,000 but Lenovo has surprised us with a great pricing on the device. Be sure to stay tuned to GadgetsToUse to read our full review when we test this device out for a longer period of time.
