Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite Unveiled At CES, Come With Full HD Display and Octa Core Processor @ 199 USD

Kickstarting CES with a bash Lenovo has unveiled a toned down version of its highly popular and successful smartphone Lenovo Vibe S1 that goes by the name of Vibe S1 Lite and carries a price tag of $199 ( INR 13,250 approx).

Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is a mid-range smartphone and comes with notable specifications. It comes flaunting with a 5 inch Full HD  (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and is backed by a powerful 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

Vibe S1 Lite comes with 16 GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage up to  128 GB via microSD card which is quite relevant to the price range. Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite comes equipped with 13 MP rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus and dual LED flash along with an 8 MP front facing camera with Sony lens and an LED flash.

Vibe S1 Lite is a 4G LTE enabled smartphone and comes with all the usual connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2700 mAh battery under the hood is providing power to the smartphone. It will be available in White and Blue colors and will be available for purchase sometime in the first quarter.


At the moment, no pricing information and availability details of this smartphone in India is still unknown but we can expect details to emerge soon. However, the pricing in the USA is $199, which roughly translates to INR 13000.

The older Lenovo Vibe S1 was powered by a higher clock speed processor, clocked at 1.7GHz, and featured 3GB of RAM on board. Now, let us see how the phone stacks up to the great shoes that it has to fill in.
