Asus ZenFone Zoom Is Coming To India This Month

Asus, the tech giant after launching many top brass smartphones in India is set to launch yet another camera centric smartphone that goes by the name of Asus Zenfone Zoom this month. Asus Zenfone Zoom comes with advanced photography features and was unveiled last year at CES 2015 but hasn’t seen the light of the day yet. It will be available in Glacier White and Meteorite Black colors.

Asus Zenfone Zoom runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with ZenUI on top. It flaunts a 5.5 inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. This smartphone is powered by a Quad core Intel Z3580 processor clocking 2.3 GHz coupled with PoverVR G6430 GPU.

Asus Zenfone Zoom comes equipped with 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and packs 64 GB of on board storage which is further expandable up to 128 GB. The main highlight of this smartphone are its camera features.

Zenfone Zoom features a 13 MP rear shooter camera with f/2.7 to f/4.8-aperture, 10-element lenses with 3X optical zoom, OIS , laser auto-focus and dual-color Real Tone flash. On the front there is a 5 MP camera for capturing selfies and video chatting. This smartphone is touted as the world’s thinnest phone at just 11.95 mm to sport 3X  to 12X optical zoom-in effect.


Zenfone Zoom comes with 4G LTE enabled and support for Indian LTE bands. It is a single sim smartphone and come all the usual connectivity options like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB. A 3000 mAh battery is fueling the smartphone.

Momentarily, pricing information about this smartphone is not yet available but we can expect it to cost somewhere around INR 25,000.
