Lenovo K4 Note is the successor of the very successful K3 Note and it continues to offer the same display size in their latest smartphone. Both Coolpad Note 3 and Lenovo K4 Note offer 5.5 inches of display size but K4 note has a much better display overall. K4 Note features full HD IPS display with 178-degree wide view, 450 Nits of brightness and 401 ppi pixel density. Coolpad lacks behind in this segment too, it has HD IPS display with a pixel density of 267 ppi.

The processor on both the smartphones is same and also the RAM size. Both the smartphones have 64-bit 1.3 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek 6753 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. The only difference in this department is the GPU which is Mali T720-MP3 in K4 Note while the Coolpad comes with the earlier version of the same GPU- Mali T720-MP2.

Camera and Internal Storage

Both the Lenovo K4 Note and Coolpad Note 3 include 13 MP rear cameras and 5 MP front shooters. Comparing the rear camera of the two devices, K4 Note feels better with PDAF F/2.2 aperture and ISOCELL sensor and improved software. K4 Note also has a dual-tone LED for better images in dark where the Coolpad Note 3 has single LED flash and f/2.0 aperture with 5 P lens.

Rear K4 Note

The front camera is almost the same on both the phones. But the Coolpad Note 3 has a 1.4-micron pixel wide angle lens, which makes the selfie look much better.

Internal storage is 16GB on both Coolpad Note 3 and K4 Note and there is provision for adding a MicroSD card for further expansion. In that case, K4 Note supports up to 128 GB of microSD where the Coolpad retains up to 64 GB only.

Battery and Other Features

The battery capacity on Lenovo K4 Note is 3300 mAh and the one on Coolpad Note 3 is 3000 mAh. The difference in real usage backup isn’t much, though. Both phones will give you almost one day of backup with moderate usage, but the Lenovo K4 Note will last a bit longer. Also, the K4 Note comes with fast charging support, this makes it take a lead in this department as well.

Both smartphones are running Android Lollipop based OS and include 4G LTE support.  You can expect future version updates too. However, Cool UI on Coolpad Note 3 offers limited community support whereas the Vibe UI should be preferred by users who like to toggle with every aspect of their device.

Fingerprint Sensor

Coolpad Note 3

Both the smartphones feature a fingerprint sensor on the back. As far as the response and accuracy are concerned, both the sensors perform equally well and also consists of some really cool fingerprint gesture options in settings.

Both Lenovo K4 Note and Coolpad 3 are great devices for their price, both the device come loaded with multiple features that are unique in their own. But as far as the quality is concerned, Lenovo K4 Note is a better overall choice for consumers as it comes restructured with all the features which were missing in the Coolpad Note 3.
