CES 2016: Smart Jewelry Launched by WiseWear

In the year 2015, we saw a lot of wearables come to market, smart watches, fitness trackers and many more. But who had thought that actual Jewelry will also become smart by 2016. Yes, that’s correct, a company named WiseWear has launched Smart Jewelry at CES 2016 in Las Vegas. There is more to this than what you make out of it at this point.

WiseWear

People who like dressing up for events will appreciate what WiseWear has done for them. WiseWear has come up with smart Jewelry that you can wear on your wrist, and it won’t look like a regular activity tracker or something but an actual fashion accessory that you’re wearing.

WiseWear has three products that they’ve launched/showcased at the CES 2016. These three products are called The Calder, The Kingston, The Duchess and are priced at $299.95 each. All these three products are available in Gold and Silver, so you can go with whatever colour you find more matching to your style.

All these bands, have certain features, which are common across all three of them. All three of these products are water resistant, and hence, should be easy to wear them throughout the day. The battery of these products lasts for up to 3 days and the band also functions as a notification alert. It will vibrate when your phone receives notifications, using customized settings on its app.

The WiseWear Smart Jewelry is expected to have a long life because of the material that they’ve used on their products. It makes sure that the shine and quality of the bracelets stays the same for a very long time.

The bracelet performs different functions, which include activity tracking, distress messaging and mobile notifications. Activity tracking allows you to track your steps and activity throughout the day and see the result on your smartphone. The distress messaging is a unique feature that allows it to send your current location to anyone secretly via a message and then the receiver can track your location in cases of emergency. The last but not the least feature is the mobile notifications, where you can configure the bracelet to notify you of certain notifications right there on your wrist, just like a smartwatch.

Conclusion

The WiseWear Smart Jewelry is a pretty interesting idea, and women who earlier didn’t feel like wearing a black or white smartband around their wrist to track their daily activity, might give this device a try. The device might seem costly, but luxury and glamour comes at a price that is not cheap!
