LeEco Officially Launches Le 1S and Le Max In India

LeEco (formerly known as LeTV)  has marked its entry into the Indian smartphone market with the launch of two superphones today at their event in Delhi. LeTV has launched Le 1S and Le Max for the time being but we can expect more devices to come soon. Le 1S comes with a price tag of INR 10,999 and Le Max has will be available in two storage variants priced at INR 32,999  for 64 GB variant and INR 69,999 for 128 GB variant. Both the smartphones will be sold exclusively via Flipkart and registrations for the same begin today. The first flash sale for Le 1S will be conducted on February 2, starting 12 Noon and for Le Max it is February 16.

Le Max is the flagship device from the brand was launched sometime back in China and now it is officially launched in India. Le Max is a large phablet fully clad in metal that comes with a display measuring 6.33 inches in size and featuring Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution with a pixel density of 464 PPI. The highlight feature of this smartphone are the 0.8 mm thin bezels which adds to the beauty of this smartphone. It will be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Le Max is packing a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa core chipset clocking 2.0 GHz coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. This smartphone will be available in 64 GB and 128 GB storage variants. Le Max features a 21 MP rear camera with OIS, Sony IMX 230 sensor, dual LED flash with f/2.0 aperture lens and a 4 MP ultra-pixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture lens.

Le Max comes with a fingerprint sensor just below the camera unit. It comes with 4G LTE and NFC connectivity along with infra red remote control support with APT-X. Other connectivity features include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C port. It is fueled by a bigger 3400 mAh battery.

The 64 GB variant of Le Max will be available in Gold and Silver color tones whereas the 128 GB variant will be available in Sapphire color options.

Coming to Le 1S, it is a mid-range device with some very noteworthy features. Le 1S features a fully metallic design and is only 7.9 mm thin. It flaunts a 5.5 inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with a display resolution of 403 PPI and comes with added protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. It too runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with custom skin EUI 5.5 on top.

Under the hood you will get a MediTek Helio X10 octa core turbo chipset  clocking 2.2 GHz and is coupled with 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of internal storage. On the back you will find a fingerprint sensor which unlocks in just 0.15 seconds and also clicks photos with one touch. In terms of optics, yo will get a 13 MP rear shooter with Phase Detection Auto Focus and on the front there is a 5 MP shooter with wide angle 85 degrees view for clicking selfies and video chats.

Le 1S comes with dual sim support with 4G connectivity on both the sims. Other connectivity features include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C port. It is fueled by a 3000 mAh battery under the metallic body which offers up to 496 hours of standby time on 4G network.
