Here is a list of 5 features to look forward in the Huawei-made Honor 5X that will be coming in the next week to India.

Fingerprint Sensor

Honor 5x 4

The fingerprint sensor is definitely the most interesting feature of the Honor 5X. The fingerprint reader is a frame free sensor that works amazingly. The fingerprint sensor is capable of reading your fingerprint at any angle that you place it at. The fingerprint sensor is surprisingly fast! It can unlock the device in less than 0.5 seconds and even supports unlocking the phone when your hands are wet. This might be really beneficial for some people.

Price

Honor 5x 3

The Honor 5X is expected to have a killer pricing. Again, when it was showcased at CES this year, it was priced at USD 199, approx INR 13,500. The Indian pricing is still unknown, we’ll have to wait for the device to make its debut in Indian market.

Camera

Honor 5x5

The camera on the Honor 5X is another good thing to look for. It is a 13-megapixel shooter, along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The primary 13-megapixel camera performs really well and does take some good shots in low lighting conditions as well. Though it takes a few seconds to focus in low lighting mode, when it does it takes some decent pictures.

Build Quality

Honor 5x2

The Honor 5X is a well-built device, featuring just metal all around. The metal build of the device gives it a premium feel in the hand, that is what most users desire these days. The device features a unibody design, disallowing users from opening the back of the phone to change the battery. However, to achieve that premium slim feeling, the device had to compromise on removable battery.

Performance

Honor 5x1

Last but not the least, the one thing to look for in the Honor 5X is that it delivers some great performance. It comes with a 1.2GHz Octa-core  Snapdragon 616 processor, coupled with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM depending on the storage option you decide to go with. These specifications make it perform great for the price which it is offered.

Conclusion

The Honor 5X will definitely be a device to look forward to. We are waiting for Honor to officially launch the device in the event on 28th January, and we will be present at the event to bring you the coverage. Stay tuned to GadgetsToUse to know more about this upcoming device from Honor.
