Panasonic Launches ELUGA Turbo with Octa Core, 3GB RAM at 11000 INR

Panasonic, a well-known brand in India for electronics ventured into smartphones a few years ago. Now, they have launched their new smartphone named the ELUGA Turbo. The ELUGA Turbo is a great device, with 4G capabilities. It also offers some good specifications under the hood.

The ELUGA Turbo rocks a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) display, covered with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the ELUGA Turbo is powered by a 1.5GHz  64-bit Octa-core processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. On the storage side of things, the ELUGA Turbo comes with 32GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded via a MicroSD card easily. The entire phone is powered by a 2350mAh battery, which can deliver some decent battery life on the phone.

On the camera side of things, the ELUGA Turbo features a 13MP primary camera, supported with an LED flash, capable of recording a 1080p @ 30fps video. The secondary camera on the device is a 5MP shooter, which should be decent enough for selfies.


Eluga Turbo

The connectivity options on the ELUGA Turbo are really impressive as well. It has support for dual sim cards, one being 4G/3G and the other 2G. Apart from this, it has the usual WiFi, Bluetooth, WiFi hotspot and GPS. On the back of the device, you’ll find a DragonTail glass integrated for more protection.

The Turbo runs on Android 5.1, with a customised skin from Panasonic. The User Interface looks good from the first appearance. It also features FitHome user interface, developed solely by Panasonic which allows the users to launch apps with single thumb-flick.

Pricing and Availability

The Turbo is priced at INR 10,999 and will be exclusively sold on the online portal Snapdeal. In order to buy the device, you need to register, and the registrations are already open. The first lot of devices will go on sale on 27th January. Though we are not sure on the number of devices on sale on 27th January, but it should be a good number of devices.

Conclusion

The Panasonic ELUGA Turbo does offer some good specifications, making it a good buy for users. Panasonic already has confidence of their customers in other electronics, and it should not be hard for them to attract users to their new ELUGA Turbo.
