YU Yureka Note YU6000 Launched For Rs. 14,999

YU Yureka Note YU6000 which was earlier spotted on Zauba and GFXbench, has been launched in India by the company. The device has been priced at Rs 14,999. It comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

YU is a sub brand of Micromax. Note that this device was not announced during the recent Micromax event where more that 15 devices were unveiled.

While the Yureka Note has not been listed on any online retailer’s website yet, the phone is apparently available for purchase online. The image above confirms this. A Twitter user has posted pictures of the box and the specs of the device.

As per the picture, the YU Yureka Note YU6000 features a 6 inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a 64-bit Mediatek octa-core 1.5GHz processor.

The Yureka Note comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. It has 4G LTE support and is a dual-SIM device. YU has included a fingerprint sensor as well, capitalizing on the latest trend in smartphones.

On the back, it has a 13 MP camera and on the front an 8 MP shooter for selfies. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and also supports Quick Charging.

While we don’t have any official confirmation from YU, the Yureka Note is already available with retailers offline at a price of Rs. 14,999. The official launch announcement could be just a few days away, at most.
