LeEco Le2, Le2 Pro and Le Max2 Launched In China

LeEco entered the smartphone market last year, and the company has already grabbed a lot of eyeballs only in one year due to its Le1 series phones.

Today, at the launch event in Beijing, China everyone was expecting the launch of much awaited LeEco Le 2, but LeEco has surprised everyone with the announcement of three new phones namely Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 with USB Type C audio instead of the conventional heaphone jack. All three phones look stylish with a metal body and have fingerprint sensor at the back. Let us take a look at their key specifications.

LeEco Le 2 has a 5.5 inches FHD display. It runs on the 2.3 GHz deca-core processor powered by Helio X20 chipset. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The operating system is Android 6.0. On the camera front LeEco Le 2 is equipped with a 16MP primary camera and a 8MP front camera. All this is backed by a 3000 mAh battery with fast charging.  Le 2 is priced at 1,099 Yuan (Rs. 11,500 approx).

Le 2  pro is the upgraded version of Le 2.  It also has a 5.5 inch FHD display like Le 2. It has a faster 2.5 Ghz Deca-core processor with a Helio X25 chipset.  Unlike Le 2, it has an upgraded 4GB Ram and same internal storage of 32GB. It  runs on Android 6.0 and have a 8MP front camera like Le 2. The primary camera is upgraded to 21MP with Sony IMX230 camera sensor. The battery backup is similar to Le 2 i.e 3000 mAh with fast charging. Le 2 Pro is priced at 1499 Yuan (Rs. 15,500 approx).

The third phone Le Max 2 was the highlight of the event. Le Max 2 has a 5.7 inch QHD display with 2K resolution.  It run on a 2.15 Ghz processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. The phone  will come in two variants, one with a whopping 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, the other with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Le Max 2 is equipped with a 21MP primary camera with OIS and a 8MP front camera. It is backed by a better  3100mAh battery which has Quick Charge 3.0 feature. This powerful device is priced at 2099 Yuan (Rs. 21,500 approx) – 4GB variant and 2499 Yuan (Rs. 26,000 approx) – 6GB variant.

The company also mentioned that all the three devices will be launched in India very soon.
