For testing the camera of the Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5, I took the phone to an outdoor location and captured some objects like keys, a toy, a light and other things.

In our tests, the phone managed to capture some very good quality photos. I tested the camera in low light, against the light as well in-flow. The end results are there for you to see below.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) & Galaxy J5 (2016) Camera Verdict

On the whole, the camera performance has been very good. The front camera and the rear camera both performed very well in our rigorous testing across different lighting conditions. For the price that it is offered at, we would rate the camera of both the Galaxy J series phones 4/5.

The Galaxy J5 also comes with the same camera as the Galaxy J7. However, because of the slightly slower processor, you may find the camera software to be a little slower at times but it cannot be noticed in real-time.
