Micromax has launched the first device under its Canvas Evok range. The device has been named as Micromax Canvas Evok. The device has been priced at Rs 8,499 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting May 17.
The Micromax Canvas Evok runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The device features a 5.5-inch full HD display, with a pixel density of ~267 PPI. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

We expect the new smartphone to fare well in the market as the millennial generation understands technology and also recognizes the fact that one does not need to pay exorbitant prices for a premium quality smartphone.”

Micromax Canvas Evok Specs
The Canvas Evok comes with a 64-bit 1.4 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor coupled with Adreno 415 GPU. The device comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. There is no information about microSD card support yet.
The Canvas Evok sports a 13 MP AutoFocus rear camera featuring 5P Largan Lens for better low light images. On the front, there’s a 5 MP camera.
The phone is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. It has a carbon fiber back panel. On the connectivity front, the device includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
Pricing and Availability
The Micromax Canvas Evok has been priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be available in Black color on Flipkart from May 17.
