Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe Physical Overview

The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the flagship Asus smartphone. It comes with a fully metallic design, with premium looks and a really premium build quality. While the base Zenfone 3 model looks decent too, it comes with some distractions in the form of antenna lines. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe does away with them. Also gone is the glass back, giving way to metal. This makes it look even better.

The front has an 8 MP camera on the left. The earpiece has been placed in the center and the left side has the usual proximity and ambient light sensors.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe User Interface

The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe runs on Android 6.0.1 with Asus ZenUI 3.0 skinned on top. While Asus has skinned the user interface heavily, it has added a plethora of features in ZenUI 3.0. In fact, you may actually find some of the apps very interesting. For example, there is an app that can help you measure the distance between you and an object using the laser autofocus.

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe also comes with a new homescreen feed called ZenLife, taking a page from HTC’s BlinkFeed. It features a Theme store too so you can customize your phone on the fly by downloading themes. We do wish Asus would have trimmed down its set of apps and features – it can be overwhelming, but many of those apps can be disabled.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe Camera Overview

The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe sports a 23 MP primary camera with laser/phase detection autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization and dual-tone dual LED flash. Asus has used a Sony camera sensor this time. The f/2.0 aperture, in addition to OIS should help produce some really good quality results. The camera also looks really good, featuring a 23 MP Sony sensor and OIS. On paper, it looks like a really solid phone. We cannot wait to test the Zenfone 3 Deluxe thoroughly and post our review.
