OnePlus 3 Launched In India At Rs 27,999, Sale Starts Tomorrow

After months of wait and plenty of drama, finally the OnePlus 3 is out. Chinese technology start-up OnePlus is back again with its flagship killer and off course it’s not a surprise. The specifications and price were leaked ahead of the launch in a newspaper ad and after the official announcement, it’s confirmed that the OnePlus 3 will be Amazon exclusive and will cost Rs 27,999.

As expected, the OnePlus 3 comes with a trendsetting design with power-packed performance at such a reasonable price. This time OnePlus 3 has ditched the sandstone body that was seen in previous OnePlus phones. It has a metallic unibody design that looks more refined. OnePlus has also managed to keep the new smartphone slim with measuring 152.7×74.7×7.35mm.

OnePlus 3 flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Optic AMOLED display. It comes with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4protection.OnePlus 3 runs on the latest Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15 GHz and is coupled with a whopping 6 GB of RAM. In India, only the 64 GB version is launched. It runs on OxygenOS based on Android Marshmallow 6.1.

On the camera front, the OnePlus 3 is equipped with a 16MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto-focus (PDAF), Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), and 4K video recording feature. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture

The OnePlus 3 also features a 3,000mAh battery the company claims is good enough to survive the day on a single charge. The battery also supports Dash Charge, which promises up to 60 percent charge in only 30 minutes. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC , 4G LTE support, and GPS.

Availability

Sale starts at 12.30 AM on June 15 on Amazon. Good news for fans is that OnePlus 3 will be ditching the invite system and now it will be easier to upgrade. OnePlus 3 buyers will be benefited with a year’s subscription of Saavn Pro, double data offer for Idea users, damage protection via OnePlus Care, and Rs 500 credit on the Amazon Kindle app.
