Micromax Rolled Out Unite 4 and Unite 4 Pro At Affordable Price

Domestic consumer electronic maker Micromax launched two new phones of its Unite series on Monday. The two new phones are Unite 4 and Unite 4 Pro which are priced at INR 6,999 and INR 7,499 respectively. The Unite 4 will be available across all the offline stores whereas Unite 4 Pro will be available exclusively at Snapdeal for purchase.

The Unite 4 comes with a 5-inch HD(720p) IPS display. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735P) processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt memory. It supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs on Android Marshmallow (6.0) with Indus OS 2.0 on top. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.

Unite 4 Pro comes with same 5-inch HD(720p) display. Unlike Unite 4, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC9832) processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It has an expandable storage via micro-SD card up to 32GB. Micromax Unite 4 Pro runs on Android Lollipop (5.1) which is upgradeable to Android Marshmallow. It is backed by a massive 3900mAh battery.

Both phones features a 8MP rear autofocus camera and a 5MP front camera. They also have a fingerprint scanners and come with dual-SIM support.


As per Micromax, these two phones are targeted for the first time smartphone users. So keeping this thing in mind, the company has come up with this new Indus OS 2.0. It supports 12 regional languages, App Bazaar, Indus-to-Indus free SMS services, Indus Swipe feature, and many more other features. Indus OS 2.0 also brings text-to-speech technology in 6 Indian languages. The best part of the App Bazaar is that it allows users to download and pay for apps without email IDs and credit cards.
