Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) with 5 inch Display and 1.5 GB RAM launched in India

Samsung has launched a new revamped variant of its affordable Galaxy J2 smartphone. Samsung Galaxy J2 was launched earlier in September 2015, with a 4.7 inch display. While the new variant of the phone is launched with a 5 inch Super AMOLED display. The phone comes with 1.5 GB RAM and it is priced at Rs. 9,750 as compared to the earlier variant that is available for Rs. 7,590. Let us take a look at the Key Specifications of the phone.

Samsung Galaxy J2 has a 5.0-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. Operating system is the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Samsung’s own UI on top.

On the camera front, it is equipped with a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. Samsung J2 comes with a unique feature called the Smart Glow that will glow in different colors for priorities, normal usage alerts and perfect selfie alert. The phone also has 4G LTE support. Moreover, it comes with Turbo Speed Technology which load the apps faster and also shuts down the idle processes in the background.

This dual SIM smartphone is backed by a bigger 2600mAh battery and its dimensions are 142.4×71.1x8mm. The phone also comes with the much popular S bike mode and also Ultra Data Saving feature.


The phone is priced at Rs. 9,750 and it will be available online from July 10th in Black, Gold, and Silver colors.
