OnePlus 3 was launched around the globe recently and at the launch, OnePlus specified that the phone will be ditching the Invite based sales this time. In India, it is priced at INR 27,999, which is said to be the apt price for the phone by many. On the launch day itself, it was unveiled that the OnePlus 3 will be available in 2 variants, namely Graphite and Soft Gold. But it was also stated that the Soft Gold variant will be available later.

During his recent visit to New Delhi, OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei has confirmed that the Soft Gold variant of the phone will be hitting Indian shores very soon. Although Pei has not specified any particular date but we can expect it to arrive around the upcoming festive season which is Diwali, which is on Sunday, October 30. The Soft Gold variant has white bezels on the front, and it is not completely golden but it looks more like a mixture of gold and silver.

You can have a look at the video where Carl Pei reveals some interesting things about the Soft Gold OnePlus 3.

With OnePlus 3, the company has ditched the Sandstone finish that we saw in the previous flagships. OnePlus 3 comes in high-end metal casing but for those who love the sandstone finish; OnePlus is manufacturing the Sandstone case for the OnePlus 3.
