As the name suggest Marathon series is known for its long battery life, likewise the new Marathon M6 is also backed by a massive 5000 mAh battery. Moreover, the phone has encrypted chips for better security.

Question- How is the Design and Build Quality?

Answer- Gionee Marathon M6 has a metallic unibody design. it looks very premium because of the metal construction. It has a 5.5 inch display with 2.5 D curved glass on the top. The back has a Gionee logo in the center and a rear camera with LED flash on the top center. On the front it has a physical home button and two capacitive buttons. Overall, the phone look very premium and it can be handled more easily as compared to its elder sibling, M6 Plus.

Answer – It has a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels. The display quality is equally good as in the M6 Plus. It has nice colors with great viewing angles.

Gionee Marathon M6 is the smaller and affordable version of M6 Plus. But the battery backup of 5000 mAh is not small from any angle, for normal usage. The other highlight of the phone is the Data encryption chips but that is limited to the China version. Other than this, it has a big display, not bigger like M6 plus but it is more than enough. It has nice display quality, latest OS, good processor, enough RAM and storage, good camera and a fingerprint sensor. Let us see what response it receives, when it will come to the Indian markets.
