Gionee hinted about its new S-series phone, Gionee S6s on Twitter. The tweet says that upcoming phone is for Selfie and Music lovers. They also posted two photos which shows that this device comes with a good quality earphone. It was also spotted recently on an Indian import and export listing website, Zauba .The Gionee S6s was recently launched in Vietnam for 4,490,000 Vietnamese Dong (INR 13,484 approx) and Indian price is also expected to be somewhat same. It offers Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver colour options.
It comes with a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080p) 2.5D curved glass display on the front. It is powered by an 1.3 GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor with Mali T-720 GPU. It has got 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 128 GB via hybrid card slot. It features a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF and a 8MP cam on the front with LED flash.
It has got a metal unibody design and a Fingerprint sensor which is placed on the back of the device. It runs on Android Marshmallow (6.0) with Amigo 3.2 UI on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Dual-SIM,and a regular micro USB port. It has got a Hybrid SIM- card slot which either takes two SIM cards or a SIM card and a micro-SD card. To juice up the device, it has got a 3130mAh battery which will be sufficient for a whole day.
