Asus Zenfone 3 Listed Ahead Of Launch, And This Is How Much It Will Cost You

After a long wait, Asus is now all set to launch its much awaited Zenfone 3 today in India. We have been receiving a lot of queries about the launch date and pricing of the latest Zenfone since it was launched at the Computex 2016 earlier this year. The launch event has been scheduled at 4 PM but the e-retailer Snapdeal has again tore apart the suspense by listing the pricing and availability details of the Zenfone 3. According to the listing, the Asus Zenfone 3 will be going for sale via Snapdeal at Rs. 21,999.

According to the listing, there will be two variants for the Zenfone 3, one with a 5.2 inch display, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and the other one with 5.5 inch display, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. As far as we think, the 5.2 inch variant will cost Rs. 21,999 while the pricing of the other one is still unknown.

As far as the specification goes, Zenfone 3 comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080p) IPS+ display with up to 500cd/m2 brightness. The display is protected by a 2.5 D curved Corning Gorilla Glass, which is also available on the back. It is the first smartphone to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, which has an integrated X9 LTE modem and 802.11ac MU-MiMO Wi-Fi connectivity.

It comes with 3/4 GB of RAMAdreno 506 GPU and 32/64 GB internal storage with support for microSD card. Further, it boasts of a 16 MP main camerawith Sony IMX298 sensor, a 3000 mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor.


The launch is still awaited but we can have an idea that Asus has no plans to bring the Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra in India for now. Let’s wait for the evening and see how correct does this Snapdeal listing is.
