As we know the Reliance Jio 4G services have been working in the testing phase and is expected to get official in coming weeks. As a part of market strategy, Jio started giving away free preview offer to LYF smartphones and to their own employees. Later it was expanded to selected Samsung phone and now to most of the Samsung and LG phones.
The preview offer includes unlimited usage of 4G data, calls and SMS for free. Now as we can see that everyone is trying to get theirs by hook or by crook, the company has succeeded in maintaining the hype they wanted.
As a part of Jio’s promotional campaign, the next brand to get the Jio 4G SIM with the preview offer is Micromax. As we know that the offer is only for 4G phones, so there are selected number of models that can be used to avail the Jio SIM. We have listed all the handsets below:

Things you will need to carry (Important Documents)
- Government approved ID proof
- Address proof
- Two passport sized photographs
Unlike Samsung and LG, you don’t need to generate the QR code for verification. Reach to the Reliance Digital or Digital Xpress/Mini store with your Micromax handset and the above mentioned documents.
- Show the handset and your documents to the representative at the store
- After the verification of your documents, you will have to fill a registrations form and get the Jio SIM instantly
- Wait for 1-2 days for the activation of the SIM. You will receive a confirmation SMS on your alternative number once your SIM is activated.
- Dial 1977 from your Jio SIM once you put the SIM in VoLTE enabled phone, this is a necessary step to complete tele-verification.
- Switch to mobile data instead of any other data connection or Wi-Fi.
Install and open MyJio app then follow these steps to activate the unlimited data offer
- Tap on the Ínstall other Jio Apps’on the home screen.
- It is recommended to intall all the 11 apps to make it sure in one go. Otherwise you can just install the Jio Play, Jio Beats, Jio Video and Jio Money.
- Once done, close and reopen the MyJio app and tap on ‘Submit’ button.
